THOMASVILLE — Thomas County Central’s boys basketball program hosted its first Fall Basketball Skills Clinic under the direction of first-year head coach Levi Williams. The clinic was intended to help boost participation in YMCA youth basketball leagues and encourage skill development at the elementary grades. Coach Williams, the coaching staff and players worked with approximately 80 students in first through fifth grade on October 7 in an action-packed day of basketball.

“The turnout was great,” Williams said. “We were excited to see so many young people enthused about playing the game of basketball. I am confident that we will see many of the participants playing this fall in the youth leagues and ongoing.”
