Michael Lynwood Butler

Michael Lynwood Butler, 60 of Thomasville passed away March 17, 2013 at Archbold Hospital. Born Oct. 18, 1952 in Havana, Fla., he was the son of the late Donald Lynwood Butler and Jean Driver Butler, who survives. He was married to Pattie McMath Butler who also survives. He was employed at Country Oaks Golf Course. Other survivors include his children, Dawn Neighbors of Debary, Fla., Jen Mobley and husband Keith of Thomasville and Jody Lane and fiance, Ashley Rehberg of Thomasville; grandchildren, Klara Lane, Mac Mobley, Laney Mobley and Finton Lane; sister, Lynn Gainey and husband Tommy of Deltona, FL and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are sisters and brothers-in-law, Vickie and Emory Lutes, Janice and Tommy Dolan, all of Thomasville and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jim and Maurice McMath Chandler of Thomasville. He was preceded in death by his father in law, Gene McMath. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, c/o Vickie Lutes, P.O. Box 1999, Thomasville, Ga. 31799.
