Severe thunderstorm warning in effect

The National Weather Service office in Tallahassee, Florida, has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for southern Grady County and southwestern Thomas County.

At 3:42 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located over Midway, Florida, moving east at 45 mph. The storm has 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-sized hail. Hail damage to vehicles is expected and wind damage is expected to roofs,siding and trees.
