MNW Boys & Girls Club names Brian Flemming as CEO

THOMASVILLE- Marguerite Neel Williams (MNWBGC) announced today that the Board of Directors has unanimously named Brian Flemming as the next Chief Executive Officer. MNWBGC conducted its search process with the assistance of Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s CEO Search Team.
“We are thrilled to welcome Brian as the new CEO of the MNWBG of Southwest Ga.,” said Board Chair Donica Williams. “With a proven track record of leadership and a deep commitment to youth development, he brings a wealth of experience that will help us further our mission of empowering young people in our communities. We believe that under Brian’s guidance, we will continue to create a safe and nurturing environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.”
Flemming comes to the Marguerite Neel Williams Boys & Girls Club from a similar organization in Valdosta. He was previously with the Boys & Girls Club of Valdosta for the last 15+ years. He held a number of positions there including President & CEO for the last 9 years. Flemming began with the MNW BGC on March 3rd.
Prior to his time with Boys & Girls Clubs, Flemming served his community as a law enforcement officer and drug education director for a local nonprofit.
He received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida and his Masters of Public Administration from Valdosta State University.
For Flemming, the MNWBGC opportunity is an honor.

As CEO, Flemming’s responsibilities include leading the organization’s strategic direction, oversight of organizational operations, financials, programming, brand reputation, talent recruitment, resource development, and stakeholder relationships. The CEO also serves as the organization’s primary ambassador and lead communicator. Flemming, in partnership with his team, will oversee the organization’s Clubs, including the MNWBGC Youth Center, Teen Center, and Jackie Robinson Boys & Girls Club in Cairo. The CEO reports to Williams.
