Georgia Senior Living Association names Thomasville professionals 2023 Heroes of Excellence for the state of Georgia

THOMASVILLE- For exceptional service and achievement in the senior living industry in Georgia, the Georgia Senior Living Association has awarded Donna Carlson, LPN, wellness director at Woodleaf Senior Care, GSLA’s highest award. The annual Community Staff Member Hero Award of Excellence recognizes one professional from across the state who embodies the highest level of competence and achievement in the senior living industry in Ga. 

Abide Home Care was also recognized with GSLA’s statewide Industry Partner Hero Award of Excellence for providing exemplary in-home care for seniors. 

Catie Ramp, President and CEO of GSLA commented, “These recipients have received the professional recognition of supervisors, peers, and residents of the communities they serve. With this award, GSLA recognizes their outstanding contributions to the advancement of the organization’s principles and ideals.” 

Statesboro based Georgia Living Management, Inc. is the parent corporation of both Woodleaf and Abide Home Care. Of the six categories of service recognized annually, Georgia Living Management received four statewide awards. Carlton Wiggins, Georgia Living Management President stated, “I am most pleased and proud of Donna Carlson and our sister company, Abide Home Care for these well-deserved awards.
