Imagine Thomasville, in partnership with First Commerce Credit Union, is pleased to present Chamber Connects 2023.  Formerly known as Cocktails & Commerce, the premier networking event connected Thomasville’s local business community in an afterhours setting.  The re-imagined program will take place in the afternoon and provides opportunities for business professionals to learn and grow together during a quarterly luncheon at Southern Regional Technical College, Building D: Rooms 106-108, located at 15689 US-19 N, Thomasville, Georgia.

“The landscape in which people connect to grow their business has evolved.  Social media and a shift in generations, coupled with a post-pandemic lifestyle, drastically changed how and when businesses network.  A poll of our membership provided insight that guided our decision to host a quarterly, interactive luncheon with expert speakers focused on specific topics,” says Andrea Collins, Executive Director for the Thomasville-Thomas County Chamber of Commerce.

This year’s program is packed with opportunities to connect with business professionals and collaborate with expert speakers who will share their insights and experience for success. The first of four series kicks off February 2nd, and will focus on the topic: Above & Beyond Basic Benefits.  Networking begins at 11:30 a.m. with the luncheon and educational program to follow.  To better demonstrate the scope of Thomas County’s business community, the program is open to Chamber members at no cost and non-members at a cost of $20.00 per person per luncheon.  Registration is required as seats are limited and headcount for lunch is necessary for planning purposes.

Programs supporting business connections and growth are made possible with partners like First Commerce Credit Union.  “First Commerce believes in the power of local businesses,” said Cecilia Homison, CEO for First Commerce Credit Union. “As a long-time community partner, we want to help businesses realize their potential and achieve their financial goals. We believe the Chamber Connects luncheons will provide tangible takeaways and  networking opportunities that will empower business leaders to succeed.”
