My 2022 Mirrorball Prediction Eyes Jersey Shore’s Vinny Guadagnino

Dancing With The Stars is back, and headed to a whole new network.

The long-standing reality dance competition will be debuting on Disney+ and become the first live, reality competition to do so on a streaming service.

I am a huge fan of Dancing With The Stars and am here to break down the competition prior to its premiere on September 19 at 8 p.m.

This year’s contestants include the likes of Tik Tok stars Charli and Heidi D’Amelio, Real Housewives of New Jersey OG Teresa Giudice, Actress Selma Blair, American Idol winner Jordan Sparks, Jersey Shore’s Vinny Guadagnino and the Bachelorette’s Gabby Windey, along with multiple other stars such as, Shangela, Trevor Donovan, Daniel Durant, Jason Lewis, Cheryl Ladd, Jessie James Decker, Joseph Baena, Sam Champion and Wayne Brady.

While this season is already different in the fact it’s on a new network, this year also features the first ever mother/daughter duo in Charli and Heidi. However, I think Charli will definitely outrank her mom, especially since her pro dancer is Mark Ballas.

Ballas is a two-time mirrorball champ and has been away for five years.

He was always a fan favorite, though.

With the fan votes more important than ever, I really believe Ballas and Charli will smoke out the competition.

Charli has more than 146 million followers on Tik Tok. Imagine if all of her followers voted for her, no one could even hold a candle to that.

While I like Charli, I think Jersey Shore’s Gaudagnino will surprise us.

Gaudagnino is paired with newcomer, Koko Iwasaki.

It’s true that sometimes new dance pros can take a while to find their footing, but that’s not always the case.

Look at Daniella Karagach.

Karagach got her first mirror-ball trophy last year with Iman Shumpert after only two seasons.

In her debut season, she finished in the final four as well.

If Iwasaki brings any of that same fresh flavor to the dance floor, I think Guadagnino could be a standout.

He also has a dancing background, as he was a Chippendale for a few years.

While ballroom dancing is dramatically different from what he was doing, I don’t question that he at least knows the basics of footwork, unlike some from year’s past.

I also have a good feeling about 90210 actor Trevor Donovan and pro Emma Slater.

Every time I see Donovan, I only see “Teddy” from 90210. He has fans wrapped around his finger, and I’ve already seen the fan reaction to his announcement, and I’ll tell you it was off the charts.

I have concerns for Joseph Baena and my favorite pro dancer, Daniella.

Baena is the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger, but that’s his real only claim to fame.

I don’t believe enough people know him for him to carry himself far into the competition, which is sad, because his pro’s choreography is some of the best I’ve ever seen.

I also worry for Selma Blair, as she suffers from MS.

Dancing, and the grueling hours of practice is extremely taxing on the body. As much as I want her to prove that she is capable, I worry it may be too much for her and she may not come off as strong as others in the ballroom.

On the flip side, she has an entire community behind her and rooting her on, so she may just prove me wrong.

Whatever the season holds, I’m ready for it. I plan on biting the bullet and purchasing Disney+ on Monday, right after CNS installs my Internet and cable.

P.S. thank you to the woman at CNS, who heard my pleading, when i said I have to watch this on Monday night!
