Archbold Women’s Center ‘pinks’ YMCA

The Archbold Women’s Center is celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month a different way this year — by “pinking out” local businesses.

Archbold Women’s Center staff will be visiting local businesses throughout the month of October as part of their “We Got Pink’d” campaign. The initiative is intended to encourage women to do monthly self-breast exams and schedule a screening mammogram, the best methods to detect breast cancer in its earliest stages.

On Tuesday, October 3, the Archbold Women’s Center team dropped in on the Thomasville YMCA staff meeting, making the YMCA the first local business to “Get Pink’d” this month.
