City celebrates the 4th

The annual CNS Independence Day Fireworks and Festivities were held at the City of Thomasville’s new amphitheater on South Stevens Street, and a big crowd turned out Tuesday night. Along with face painting, balloon animals and other games and activities for the kids, the Mike Veal Band played on the stage. There was free watermelon and Archbold’s Live Better program provided free bottles of water. Trinity Anglican Church provided cotton candy, snocones, popcorn and a place to cool off.
