The board of directors of Thomasville National Bank has announced the promotion of Charlotte Hodges to assistant vice president and Wylie Watt to vice president.

Hodges is a native of Thomasville and a graduate of Thomasville High School.

She began working at Thomasville National Bank as a teller during her summers home from college.

After graduating from the University of Georgia in 2009, she became full time and has worked in almost every area of the bank.

In 2012, she began management of the residential mortgage department.

“Charlotte has done an incredible job growing the mortgage lending function of TNB. It is very rewarding when our younger generation returns home to make a difference in both our bank and our community,” said Cheney.

She is married to Tom Hodges, also of Thomasville, and welcomed her first son last September.

Watt joined TNB in 2006 as a management trainee. Today he is a commercial lending officer and responsible for managing a loan portfolio of over $55 million.

“Wylie has exceptional lending skills to go along with his natural personal skills. He exemplifies the ‘can do attitude’ that we expect from all of the TNB bankers,” said TNB President Bert Hodges.

Watt is a native of Thomasville and a graduate of Thomasville High School. He received his undergraduate business degree from Flagler College and his MBA from Thomas University. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia Banking School and a 2015 graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He is married to the former Abbey Allen of Thomasville and they have two daughters, Ada and Mary.

Thomasville National Bank is a locally-owned community bank serving Thomasville and Thomas County. Today the bank has total assets of over $775 million.
