Mascoe leaves Bulldogs for IMG

THOMASVILLE — When the Thomasville High School Bulldogs open spring football practice May 1, they will be breaking in a new starting quarterback.

Coach Zach Grage confirmed freshman Chad Mascoe has left the program and has enrolled at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

Mascoe was 156 of 263 passing for 2,253 yards and 21 touchdowns. He also accounted for 312 yards and six touchdowns rushing.

Mascoe had three games of four touchdown passes and had a single-game high of 269 yards passing against Cook. 

According to rivals.com, Mascoe has scholarship offers from Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Oregon and Georgia Tech.
