Mainstream Band, Liz Faith, Mama’s Kin to play Spirit of the Suwannee

LIVE OAK, FLA. —It’s time to get you ready for the upcoming July 4 holiday with lots of great music this weekend in The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) Music Hall in Live Oak, Fla! Kicking off the week before July 4 is the Mainstream Band and Liz Faith and Mama’s Kin June 28-29.

Mainstream Band of Georgia, playing Friday, June 28, is a longtime, excellent band that has played multiple festivals, college events, bars, restaurants and the SOSMP over its long career. A Southern rock, rock n roll, classic rock, 50s-90s and today’s band, these guys know their music and bring it for your enjoyment. Mainstream has played the SOSMP many times, bringing electrifying solos, dynamic duos and powerful vocals while playing everything from The Eagles, Bon Jovi, Elvis, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton and more. This band has opened for multiple Nashville artists such as Luke Bryan, Zac Brown, Vanilla Ice, Justin Moore, Steel Magnolias and Montgomery Gentry. You know you want to be here to enjoy this band Friday, June 28. 

Saturday, June 29, Liz Faith and Mama’s Kin Band of Ellaville, Ga. will rock the Music Hall with a variety of country, classic rock and oldies music. Lizz Faith and Mama’s Kin is a five-piece group playing for Florida and Georgia fans for more than 25 years. The band, with members Ronnie Streetman, Greg Streetman, Preston Streetman, Dean Bennett and Liz Faith, are related through their mom, hence the Mama’s Kin naming. This band has played many well-known events such as the Toadlick Festival, Gulf Coast Jam and Encore Music Festival. Get those dancing shoes ready and come enjoy this weekend before the July 4th holiday gets here next week! Watch for our lineup for that weekend also!

Free admission both nights, doors open at 6 p.m. for dinner in the Music Hall. Friday night special is always prime rib. Saturday night specials are posted at the door on that cute little menu board. Bands take the stage at 8 p.m.

You might want to start the weekend off Thursday night in the Music Hall (doors open at 5 p.m. on Thursdays only, music from 7-10 p.m.) with Ted McMullen and karaoke.
