Students build display case for flag that flew in Afghanistan
Thomasville City Scholars Academy students put their safety goggles on for Charles Gammel’s hands-on elective, Introduction to Construction, to build a display case for Thomasville High School’s latest acquisition.
Retired federal law enforcement officer Lindy Savelle presented THS with a United States flag flown on April 6, 2019, at the U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan in memory of two Thomasville City Schools’ students who lost their lives in the 2018-19 school year, Levi Knop and Harrison Hooks.
