Survive-a-Storm Shelters, Home Depot expand again

Survive-a-Storm Shelters, America’s storm shelter provider, has announced its planned expansion into more Home Depot stores in previously unreached areas.

The company will expand into stores in Kansas, northern Missouri and southern Mississippi, bringing the grand total to 148.

Roll-outs in the stores include units placed on display and training for the store associates on the company’s products, services and installation procedures for the shelters.

Home Depot District Services Manager for the southern Mississippi market Sandy Snyder said he is excited about the expansion not only for the business it will bring his stores, but also because of the good the products will do for the community.

“We believe this expansion of Survive-a-Storm’s products into our stores is going to keep a lot of people in this area safe if and when the unthinkable happens,” said Snyder. “We’ve seen what an impact these goods have had in Home Depot’s other stores, and we are happy to sell products that protect families and their homes from Mother Nature.”
