Mark Chesnutt coming to Tift Theatre
TIFTON — Country musician Mark Chesnutt and his full band are set to play the Tift Theatre Thursday, Sept. 20, according to a press release.
Chestnut, who released his first album, “Too Cold at Home,” in 1990, has a career that spans 14 number one hit and four platinum albums.
Chesnutt’s songs include ”Too Cold at Home,” “Brother Jukebox,” ”Goin’ Through the Big D,” “Bubba Shot the Jukebox,” “Ol’ Country,” “It Sure Is Monday,” and his cover of Aerosmith’s ”I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.”
His latest album, 2016’s “Tradition Lives,” was described by music critic Stephen Thomas Erlewine as “simple, spare, and easy, keeping the focus on the song and the instrumental interplay.”
