Generals hold off Titans for 1st win
The Georgia Christian Generals scored twice in the second half and held on for their first win of the season, a 20-12 triumph against SC Titans in Dasher on Friday night.
Miles Grimes threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Grant Garett to give the Generals a 6-0 lead. But the Titans scored on a long play just before the half to send the teams into intermission knotted at 6.
Grant Copeland connected with Sam Wheeler for a 30-yard gain that led to Copeland scoring on a QB keeper. Jordan Anderson added a 70-yard TD run to seal the win.
The Generals visit Central Christian on Friday.
