The Thomasville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. recently added 20 new members to their nationally known “Guide Right” mentoring program.

Eddie Brown Sr., chapter president states that “currently the fraternity mentors 47 young men ages 10-18 years old.”

Marvin Dawson, vice-president, serves as the chapter Guide Right Director. Dawson said that “last school term, the men of Kappa Alpha Psi spent over 500 hours working with young men in our community.”

The ceremony was conducted by Brown and Dawson. Assisting were Raymond Johnson, Coach Eugene Conner and Coach Reginald Knight.

New Kappa League members are: Dillion Brown, Ashton Cargel, Gabriel Harris, Zion Jackson, Jeremiah Smith, Arthur Smith Jr., Javarreon Travis, Storme Jones, Azyrion Smith, Jamal Sloan, Dakato Labbe, Deandre Smith, Keymon Jefferson, Joshua Shelton, Adam Wyche, Ja’Michael Jones, LaTarius Hightower, Jason Brown, Daeyun Toussaint and Camron Brooks.

Active Kappa Alpha Psi members are: Nathaniel Abrams, Brown, Conner,  Dawson, Rev. Corey King, Knight, Rev. Curnell Henry, Steve Ivey, Johnson, Buford Manion, Harry Rayford, Fergus Robinson, Jamie Ross, Samuel Stewart, J.T. Thompson, Rev. Dr. Emory Virgil, Nathan Wilson, James Wynn and Rev. Dr. Earl Williams.
