2 workers shot in attempt to rob convenience store
DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. (AP) — Police are searching for a group of men accused of shooting two convenience store employees in a robbery attempt.
Douglasville police say they believe the suspects entered the RaceTrac on Fairburn Road from the rear of the building before shooting the two workers early Tuesday morning.
WSB-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1xPVUHW) that the wounded workers — a man and a woman — were listed in stable condition at Grady Memorial Hospital.
No customers were inside at the time, though two people were pumping gas outside.
Douglasville police are offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
