Michael W. Smith concert set for Saturday

Christian musical artist Michael W. Smith is set to perform in Thomasville.

The concert will be held Saturday at First Baptist Church. The concert will begin at 7 p.m.

Smith was set to take the Thomasville stage back in October. The concert was rescheduled due to Hurricane Matthew’s path in Florida, causing the whole tour to be rescheduled.

Known for his hit songs “Friends,” “Above All,” “Healing Rain,” “Heart of Worship,” and “Here I Am to Worship,” Smith, a three-time Grammy Award winning artist, has toured all over the world. Worship artists Bryan Watt, Dana King, and Shawn Walden will join Smith on stage.

“We at Inside Out Nation (ION) are so excited to partner with Next Level Productions and Community Transformation, Inc. to bring Michael W. Smith to Thomasville,” Angela Keys, ION executive director, said. “We know it will be a powerful and inspirational night of music and worship, as well as an opportunity for Christians to come together in unity, regardless of race, age, church, or denomination.”

Tickets for the concert can be purchased at Rayann’s Christian Bookstore or online at www.insideoutnation.com/mws.
