Film club presents Hitchcock classic

Two strangers meet on a train. During a conversation they devise a scheme to commit murder for each other. One commits the first murder, but will the other stick to his end of the plan?

Find out in “Strangers on a Train,” presented by the Thomas University Film Club at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, in the Flowers Foods Executive Classroom inside Smith-Bonvillian Hall on TU’s Forbes Campus. The public is welcome. There is no admission charge.

Produced and directed by Alfred Hitchcock in 1950, “Strangers on a Train” is a film noir psychological thriller that debuted in 1951.

Based on a novel by Patricia Highsmith, stars include Farley Granger, Ruth Roman and Robert Walker.

The Film Club is part of ACTU, whose mission is to combine the gifts and energies of Thomas University personnel and students (Act One) with those of community members (Act Two) to provide excellent arts events for the community.
