THS boys, girls move to 8-0 in region hoops

The Thomasville Bulldogs ran their Region 1-AA record to a perfect 8-0 with a pair of convincing wins over the weekend. 

The Bulldog routed Worth County at home 73-34 on Friday night and followed that up with a 67-43 rout of Fitzgerald on Saturday.

With the wins, the Bulldogs ran their record to 17-4 overall.

The Thomasville girls also improved to 8-0 in the region, hammering Worth County 69-32 , outscoring the Lady Rams 29-7 in the fourth quarter.

The Lady Bulldogs (14-6) downed Fitzgerald 54-41. 

Thomasville hosts Berrien on Friday for the final regular season home game for the boys and girls and visits Cairo on Saturday.
