Park offers 12 Foods of Christmas

VALDOSTA — Wild Adventures Theme Park is serving the 12 Foods of Christmas through Dec. 31.

“During Wild Adventures Christmas, our guests have the chance to taste candied bacon, dig into ice cream-topped funnel cakes and even roast marshmallows over an open flame,” said Adam Floyd, public relations manager.

Featured treats include homemade pecan pie, caramel apples, Christmas cotton candy, glazed donut ice cream sandwich, loaded funnel cakes and Mint Cookie Crunch Dippin’ Dots, according to a press release.

To satisfy visitors with an appetite for savory foods, candied bacon, smoked turkey legs, rib and chicken meals, pulled-pork sandwich baskets and chili bread bowls are available for purchase.

The park also provides guests with the opportunity to gather around an open fire to roast marshmallows and make s’mores.

The items will be available throughout the park on select dates, the release stated.

Through December, Wild Adventures is also collecting toy donations in partnership with Toys for Tots and is offering buy one get one free admission with the donation of a new, unwrapped toy valued at $10 or more.

Wild Adventures is located at 3766 Old Clyattville Road and season passes are on sale for the holidays.

The park’s 2018 season will feature a new addition: MEGABUGS! Adventure Encounters.
