Y participating in Summer Food Service Program

The Thomasville YMCA is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children to the age of 18 without charge. Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided at all sites listed below showing the specified start and end times for meals.

There are 32 site locations that the Thomasville YMCA Summer Food Service Program provides service. The program begins on Tuesday, May 30 and will finish on Friday, July 28. For more information call 229-226-3446.

Breakfast will be served from 8 to 8:45 a.m. at Balfour, Douglass, First Unity and Weston YMCA; 7:45 to 8:45 a.m. at Butler-Mason YMCA; and 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. at Thomasville High School, Thomas County Central High School, Thomas County Middle School, Hand-In-Hand, Cross Creek, Garrison-Pilcher, Harper Elementary and Scott Elementary.

Lunch

All lunches will be served from noon to 1 p.m. with exceptions listed at: Balfour, Barwick City Park, Best For Guest, Boston Community Center, Butler – Mason YMCA, Camp Piney Woods, Cherokee Apartments, Circle “C” Mobile Home Park, Cross Creek from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Douglass School, Family & Friends Church, First Unity from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Garrison-Pilcher from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Good Shepherd Church, Hand In Hand from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Harper School from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Meigs Community Center, Neighborhood Center, North Crawford Street City Park, Ochlocknee City Park, Pavo Community Center, Rivers of Life, Rose City Estates, Scott Elementary from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Thomas County Central High School from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Thomas County Middle School – 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Thomasville High School – 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Weston YMCA, Wood Valley, Mt. Sinai, Renaissance School from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and Wright Street Grocery.
