Keen’s Buildings giving away four passes to Talladega

LIVE OAK, Fla. — Keen’s Buildings in Live Oak is giving local race fans an opportunity to experience one of the most anticipated NASCAR events up close and personal.

They are giving away four all-access passes to the GEICO 500 race this weekend held at the Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama.

Registration is available at the offices of the Suwannee Democrat, Mayo Free Press and The Jasper News until 4 p.m. on Friday. Winners will be announced at 4:30 p.m. Friday.

“Talladega is nail-biting track. It’s a 200-mile per hour track. There’s more than 200,000 people. It’s a super cool deal,” said Keen’s Buildings owner Kevin Keen, sponsor of the No. 51 car in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.

Keen has been on the racing scene for a long time. He was in the Xfinity Nascar Series for the past four years before moving to the Monster Energy Series at the end of 2017.

He’s excited to give local fans the chance to experience Talladega and also spend some time with the team.

“It’s a chance to have full access to the No. 51 team,” he said. “Go in the garage, sit on the pit box.”

The No. 51 car finished in 12th place at the Daytona 500 in February. Sunday, Timmy Hill will be racing the No. 51.
