Thomasville National Bank announces promotions

The Board of Directors of Thomasville National Bank have announced a series of promotions in its management team. 

In making this announcement, Chairman and CEO Stephen Cheney stated that in 2019 TNB achieved record growth in total assets, revenue and earnings in 2019. This group of talented bankers, along with many others, has been the catalyst for the bank’s growth and success. Their knowledge, work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional service are unmatched in there industry and these promotions are certainly well deserved.

Hollie Lloyd has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer. She joined TNB in 1998 as an internal auditor. Today, she is responsible for the bank’s accounting, deposit operations, information technology, compliance and human resources. Lloyd is a graduate of Georgia State University.

Hank Stone has been named executive vice president and senior lending officer. He joined TNB in 1999 as a commercial lender.  His current responsibilities include oversight of the bank’s lending functions while also managing the bank’s largest loan portfolio. Stone is a graduate of Thomasville High School, Mercer University and the Graduate School of Banking at LSU.

Til Culbreth, Stephen Cheney, Jr., Ivan Crocker and Eric Ward have been named senior vice presidents. 

Culbreth joined TNB in 1999 and is the bank’s senior retail banking executive. He currently manages a commercial lending portfolio and supervises all deposit customer contact personnel. He is a graduate of Thomasville High School, Berry College and the Graduate School of Banking at LSU.

Stephen Cheney Jr. began his banking career in 2007 and joined TNB in 2011. Today, he is responsible for managing one of the bank’s largest commercial loan portfolios, along with responsibility for sales and business development. He is a graduate of Brookwood School, LaGrange College, the University of Georgia Banking School and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania.

Crocker joined TNB in 2010 after a four-year career as a bank examiner with the Georgia Department of Banking. His responsibilities include administration of the bank’s loan portfolio and loan operations. Crocker is a graduate of Georgie Southern University and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania.

Ward joined TNB in 2018 as a vice president and commercial lender. He is a 14-year veteran of banking in Thomas County. His excellent credit skills and rapidly growing loan portfolio led to his promotion to senior vice president. Ward is a graduate of Brookwood School.  He received his undergraduate business degree from the University of Georgia and his masters of business administration from the University of Florida.

Josh Cone has been named vice president of the company. He is a graduate of Thomas County Central High School and Mercer University. Following his graduation in 2012, he joined TNB as a management trainee. Today Cone manages a sizable loan portfolio, while also focusing on sales and new business development. Cone has continued his education as a graduate of the University of Georgia Banking School.

Pam Brown, Elizabeth Davis and Danniell Slocumb have been named assistant vice presidents. 

Brown is one of the bank’s original employees joining TNB as bookkeeping manager when the bank was formed in 1995. Today, she is responsible for the bank’s systems and network administration. Brown is a graduate of Moultrie High School and Tift College. 

Davis joined TNB in 1998 as a bookkeeping specialist. She is currently responsible for all in-house bookkeeping as the bank’s deposit operations manager. Davis is a graduate of Thomasville High School and Thomas University.

Slocumb joined TNB in 2000 as a personal banker. Today, her responsibilities include electronic banking coordinator and deposit administration. She currently manages the bank’s online banking and treasury management services. Slocumb is a graduate of Coffee County High School, South Georgia College and University of Phoenix.

Thomasville National Bank is a locally owned community bank headquartered in Thomasville. Today the bank has total assets of over $950 million. The bank was recently recognized by American Banker magazine as one of the top performing banks in the United States. TNB was ranked 3rd out of over 5,000 community banks nationwide and the top rated bank in Georgia and the Southeastern United States.
