Georgia Christian recognizes Duke TIP students
DASHER — Georgia Christian School recognized 2018 Duke TIP participants Neal Bussone, Reagan Lawson and Skylar Partin.
The students participated in the seventh-grade talent search and took the SAT, according to school officials.
Students qualify for the seventh-grade talent search by scoring at or above the 95th percentile on a grade-level standardized test. It is the same SAT that high school students take minus the essay.
Partin scored high enough on the reading section of the test to be noted for recognition during the 2018 Duke TIP Georgia Recognition Ceremony scheduled for later in May at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, according to school officials.
