Lady Dogs keep their hot streak going
THOMASVILLE — The Thomasville Lady Bulldogs jumped out to an 18-point first quarter lead and never looked back in a 65-20 rout of Worth County on Thursday.
Herbreyia Diggs led the way with 15 points. Kennedy Hayes added 11 and Sanaa White scored 10.
The Lady Dogs topped Fitzgerald 60-45 to run their Region 1-AA record to 7-2.
White poured in 23 points and pulled down 19 rebounds while Laila Harvey added 12 points and Diggs chipped in 10 points.
Thomasville will play at Early County on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Region 1-AA season finale for the Lady Bulldogs.
The Lady Bulldogs, now 9-5 on the season, have won seven of their last eight games. Early County is undefeated in Region 1-AA, and Fitzgerald is in third place at 6-3.
