Local students attend Rotary leadership camp
Six Thomasville students engaged in problem-solving and other activities at the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) camp June 24 through 28 at Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus. The students were chosen for their superior leadership potential and active involvement in their schools and community.
The Thomasville Rotary Club paid each student’s $475 tuition, which covered the cost of the dormitory and food as well as instruction.
