Anniversary

First Unity Missionary Baptist Church is celebrating its 49th Usher Board anniversary at 11 a.m., Sunday. The Rev. Randall Bass will deliver the message.

VBS

Restoration Tabernacle Ministries, 1002 N. Broad St. is holding its Mobile Noah’s Kids’ Club Vacation Bible School from 6 to 8 p.m.

There will be activities for ages 5-12 include arts and crafts, life lessons, technology, grade related curriculum and Bible lessons. The activities for ages 12-18 include workshops on facial care, peer pressure, and college/career information

Locations and dates are on Wednesday at Woodvalley Apartments, Thursday at Normal Park Homes, June 20 at Faircloth Homes, June 27 at Cherokee Homes and July 18 at Flipper Homes. The date at College Terrace Homes is to be announced. For more info email tabernaclem@gmail.com

Sing

The Southern Gospel quartet, The Dixie Melody Boys. will be featured at 7 p.m., Friday, June 21 at the First Assembly of God in Tifton. Joining the Dixie Melody Boys will be the Dennis Sego Family Next Generation.

Benefit

A benefit sing and plate sale will be held Saturday at Ione Freewill Baptist Church, 1642 Ione Church Rd., Pavo. Barbecue plates will be served from noon to 4 p.m. Plates are $8, eat in or take out. The sing begins at 6. The benefit is for the Rick Griswold family and donations will be accepted. The event is open to the public.

Revival

Mt. Olive P.B. Church is holding a revival at 7 p.m., from Monday through Wednesday. On Monday is the Rev. Curnell Henry and Shiloh M.B. Church, Tuesday is the Rev. Charles Moore and New Bethel M.B. Church and Wednesday is the Rev. Ronnie Robinson and Aucilla M.B. Church.

Services

The city and county-wide fellowship services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday at St. Thomas AME Church. The speaker is Minister Keith McIntyre.

Event

Willow Head Missionary Baptist Church is holding a pre-Father’s Day explosion at 5 p.m., Saturday, June 15. It features Willow Head Youth Movement Choir, Silverhill Youth Choir and No More Shackles Praise Group.

Tea, fashion show

The Thomasville Missionary Baptist Association will be hosting a Rainbow Tea and Fashion Show at 5 p.m., Sunday at First Missionary Baptist Church, located at 110 W. Calhoun St. The public is invited to attend.
