Y Floor Hockey team wins Gold

The Thomasville YMCA Special Olympics Floor Hockey team won Gold at the Special Olympic Winter Games in Marietta this month. They are now back to back champs in this sporting event for the state of Georgia. 

Floor Hockey team members are: Darrick Edwards, Jaquan Frazier, Deron Griffin, Midajah Hardy, JaCorey O’neal, Mecca Pittman, Shawan Sapps, Chad Turner, Venus Williams, Cameron Davis, and Fantasia Hill.

The following won medals in individual Floor Hockey skills: Ashton Anderson, Gold; Mary Allison Hill, Silver; Xenia McCloud, Gold; Cynthia Jones, Gold; Tyerlyn Jones, Silver.
