THOMASVILLE — Undercover drug buys at an Old Albany Road residence resulted in an ecstasy trafficking charge on the occupant.

“We’ve been buying ecstasy and spice from 212 Old Albany Road,” said Louis Schofill, Thomas County/Thomasville Narcotics Vice Division commander.

Agents encountered the occupant, Lucien Wilson, upon arrival.

“He had marijuana in his pants,” Schofill said. 

Spice was found outside the residence. More than 100 ecstasy pills were found in a master bedroom closet, the commander said.

Wilson, 41, is charged with trafficking in a Schedule 1 substance, possession of spice and marijuana possession.

Schofill described ecstasy as a designer hallucinogen, containing methamphetamine, among other ingredients.

“The problem is it’s always different,” he said.

Ecstasy is made in make-shift labs in houses.

“You don’t know what you’re getting or the amounts or what chemicals are in an ecstasy pill,” Schofill said.

Spice is synthetic marijuana. Various chemicals are sprayed onto leafy materials, often potpourri, to make spice.
