Local woman arrested in Texas

ORANGE, Texas Ñ The Tuesday drug-related arrest of a Thomasville, Ga., motorist will go before a district attorney for review, Orange County Sheriff’s Detective Chad Hogan said Tuesday.

Celina Noccole Trapp, 27, of Thomasville, was arrested on Interstate 10 in Orange. Trapp was pulled over by authorities at about 12:15 p.m., reports showed.

Deputies said Trapp had about eight pounds of marijuana in the trunk of her car. Officials valued the contraband at $5,000.

Trapp was charged with possession of marijuana. Bond was set at $25,000.Ê

The charge is considered a third-degree felony.

She remained in the Orange County jail late Tuesday.

Hogan, the Orange detective, could not be reached for comment.
