Full Moon Climb to be held at Crooked River Lighthouse
The Crooked River Lighthouse in Carrabelle, Florida, is hosting a Full Moon and Sunset Lighthouse Climb on Sunday, October 13 from 7-10 p.m. Visitors can climb the tallest lighthouse on the Forgotten Coast, Crooked River Lighthouse, to see breathtaking views of the bay under the glow of the sunset and the rising full Hunter’s moon.
For the October full moon climb, the Crooked River Lighthouse will have live music featuring the cool sounds of Bo May who will be playing saxophone on the front porch. Guests can enjoy s’mores around the fire pit. Cost is just $8. The museum and gift shop will also be open for guests’ enjoyment. All climbers must be 44 inches tall.
Don’t miss this opportunity to see the natural surroundings of the St. George Sound, Carrabelle Beach, and Dog Island, under the night sky at this special Crooked River Lighthouse evening climb. These full moon climb events will be held each month.
