VALDOSTA — Wild Adventures Theme Park in Valdosta, Ga. invites children and their families to the 6th Annual Great Ostrich Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20. 

“This year, we wanted to make the hunt even more special for kids, so we’ve doubled the number of eggs we are hiding this year to 20,001,” said Jon Vigue, assistant general manager. 

Twenty thousand and one colorful, prize-filled eggs will be hidden throughout Wild Adventures for a park-wide hunt that begins at 10 a.m. Saturday morning. One of the hidden eggs is a painted ostrich egg containing the hunt’s grand prize: two 2019 Gold Season Passes.

“The hunt begins right when the park opens, and we recommend guests arrive early and bring their own Easter baskets to have the best experience,” said Vigue.

Due to safety and security concerns, trash bags and other oversized bags and baskets are not permitted during the hunt.

After the Great Ostrich Easter Egg Hunt, kids will have the opportunity to participate in two smaller hunts from 10:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Kids 4 years old and under can line up to search for eggs near Pop Jets. Kids 10 years old and under will be able to search at Adventure Golf. 

On April 27, Wild Adventures welcomes legendary rock band Foreigner for the next performance in the 2019 All-Star Concert Series.

The Great Ostrich Easter Egg Hunt on April 20 and Foreigner live in concert on April 27 are included with park admission or season pass. Due to popular demand, Wild Adventures has also extended its Season Pass Sale where guests can save up to $15 if purchased before April 28.
