Smoothie King a welcome addition
THOMASVILLE — Thomasville is getting colder in a healthier way.
Smoothie King is a recent addition to the Thomasville community.
Chief Operations Officer Tristian Steele said the community has been very welcoming to the health conscious provider.
“We see a lot of the same people every morning,” Steele said.
Jo Pate, franchise owner and Steele’s mother-in-law, said the Thomasville location has been a rewarding experience.
“We’re just so delighted to be here and Thomasville has welcomed us with open arms,” she said.
Pate also described a faithful customer who comes in for breakfast and lunch every day.
This dedication shows the health potency of the smoothie provider’s products.
“Our menu is specifically designed with purposeful smoothies,” Steele said.
With the cold air approaching, Steele said current popular winter choices are the dark chocolate smoothies.
Along with fruity concoctions, the menu also provides vegan and veggie blend options — which aims to serve the company’s mission statement of promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
To further promote a healthy lifestyle, Smoothie King will be partnering with Thomas University for an upcoming 5k.
The Thomasville location is not the only Smoothie King under Pate, as she owns the Tifton and Valdosta locations.
Both Pate and Steele are open to expanding Smoothie King locations in South Georgia, if a need and desire arises.
