Thomasville rallies to top Tiftarea

The Thomasville Bulldogs pushed across five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning Thursday and pulled away from Tiftarea 6-3 in a non-region baseball game.

Jacob Jordan struck out 10 and walked just one while giving up two runs on five hits.

Tiftarea starter Ben Matt went five innings, allowing one unearned run on two hits while striking out six. The Bulldogs were held to four hits, all singles.

Rickards’ William Brown fanned 10 and gave up just one run on four hits over 6 1/3 innings as the Raiders downed the Bulldogs 4-1 Friday.

Colby Aquino was 2-for-3 in the loss.
