Churches offer Thanksgiving meals for community

TIFTON — Thanksgiving meals are being offered for free to the community during the holiday.

The dates and locations are:

Wednesday, Nov. 21:

• The R.E.A.L. Church Tifton Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway, 5-7 p.m. at 620 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

Thursday, Nov. 22:

• The 1st Annual Deacon Frye’s Thanksgiving Gobbler Gathering will be held on Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Copeland Park.

• Ty Ty Baptist Church Thanksgiving Dinner, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church (157 N. Church St, Ty Ty). Dine-in, delivery or pickup. Call (229) 382-6247 or email cleger@tytyfbc.org to make reservations.

• Beulah Hill Baptist Church Annual Thanksgiving Feast, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church annex (512 West 23rd Street). Dine-in or pickup. Meals will be delivered to seniors if requested by 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Call (229) 382-0968 to request a delivery.

• Dayspring Church Thanksgiving Dinner, 5-7 p.m. at 620 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive.
