Thomas County Food Bank receives toboggans

President of the John Lee of Nansemond Chapter, Colonial Dames 17th Century Jinanne Parrish presented, on behalf of the chapter, handmade toboggans for women, children and babies to the Thomasville-Thomas County Food Bank Director Janice Anderson and Jerilyn Falconer.

The toboggans will be given out in December to the patrons of the food bank who attend the Christmas parties, sponsored by Thomasville First United Methodist Church. A total of 60 toboggans were presented to Anderson.

This is the second consecutive Christmas that hand-knitted toboggans have been given to the food bank by the Colonial Dames 17th Century.
