Seminoles dominate over the Bulldogs

The Florida State University High School dominated over the Thomasville Bulldogs 75-55.

The game started to pick up late in the first quarter. Seminoles power forward Trey Card had gotten into a groove offensively, and was getting any and everything he wanted.

Jeray Randle Jr. made back-to-back threes for the Bulldogs to help spark his team.

At the end of the first quarter, the Seminoles had a 14-13 lead.

In the second quarter, Thomasville wasn’t playing their best basketball, and the Seminoles made them pay, because they got easy points in transition. Florida State was playing good defense on the Bulldogs’ Anthony Dent Jr.

They were aggressive with him, and they wouldn’t allow Dent to get to the spots that he was accustomed to getting.

Randall Jr. was stepping up his way for the team, because he scored or assisted on some key possessions for the Bulldogs.

Florida State was forcing Dent to turnovers leading to easy points for the Seminoles.

Going into halftime, the Seminoles were in control of the game and looking to improve more on their lead in the second half.

In the third quarter, both teams got off to a fast start. However, that wouldn’t last because the Seminoles upped their play on both sides of the ball.

Thomasville needed to swing momentum to help turn the game around, because the Seminoles smelled blood and kept attacking Thomasville.

The Seminoles were double-teaming Dent and forcing other players to beat them.

The final score was 75-55.

With the loss, Thomasville has a 7-7 record, and will now begin region play.
