Bunnies and baskets and eggs, oh my! Churches host Easter activities

TIFTON — Easter is Sunday, April 1.

Many churches in the area are hosting family-friendly events in honor of the holiday.

These events include:

Saturday, Mar. 24:

4-6 p.m. — Easter Family Day at Mount Calvary United Methodist Church (217 Upper Ty Ty Road).

Sunday, Mar. 25:

11 a.m. — Service, Picnic and Egg Hunt at Chula First Baptist Church (30  Academy Dr., Chula).

Friday, Mar. 30:

7 p.m. — Good Friday Service at TFA Church (1800 Central Ave. N.).

Saturday, Mar. 31:

9 a.m.-6 p.m. — Easter Eggstravaganza at The Market at Rutland Farms (5641 Union Rd.). Egg hunts at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Hay rides from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Event arm bands $6, children 2 and under free.

11 a.m. — Easter Egg Drop at Journey Church (4264 GA. Hwy 125).

Sunday, Apr. 1:

7 a.m. — Great Vigil of Easter at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church (2411 Central Ave. N.).

8:30 a.m. — Easter at First Baptist Church (404 Love Ave.).

8:45 a.m. — Festive Easter Parish Brunch at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church (2411 Central Ave. N.).

10 a.m. — St. Anne’s Easter Day Service (2411 Central Ave. N.).

10:30 a.m. — Easter Sunday at TFA Church (1800 Central Ave. N.)

11:30 a.m. — St. Anne’s Easter Egg Hunt (2411 Central Ave. N.
