Relay for Life Beauty Pageant crowns winners

TIFTON — The Relay for Life Beauty Pageant was held April 7 at Southern Regional Technical College Tifton Campus. The winners were:

Baby Miss Relay for Life

Harmony Barker

Teeny Miss Relay for Life

Hadleigh Walker

Toddler Miss Relay for Life

Mallory-Jane Grimes

Tiny Miss Relay for Life

Zuri Thomas

Little Miss Relay for Life

Taylor Lamb

Pre-Teen Miss Relay for Life

Raylee Walker

Teen Miss Relay for Life

Haley Roberson

Miss Relay for Life

Mikayla Robinson

Ms. Relay for Life

Isabella Conner

Grimes and Robinson were also Hospitality winners.  According to pageant director Connie Cone, the pageant is a good pageant for beginners as well as young ladies that have been in the pageant circuit before because it only has a beauty portion instead of other categories like a talent portion.

Competitors this year ranged from birth to 25 years-old.

Participants ages seven and under are all-natural, meaning they wear no make up and wear Sunday dress instead of pageant dress.

Other participants wore pageant dresses.

All of the money raised by the pageant goes towards the Relay for Life.

“I encourage everyone to come out and be part of the great event as we raise money for the American Cancer Society,” said Cone. She anticipates next year’s pageant will be late February to early March.

The Relay for Life event will be held April 27 at E.B. Hamilton Complex at 7 p.m.

For more information about the pageant, contact Cone at 229-329-1001.
