Service
The Boston Baptist Church will host the annual area union Thanksgiving service on Sunday evening, November 24, beginning at 6 p.m. The Rev. Tim Phillips is the host pastor. Boston Baptist was organized in 1872 and the present building was erected in 1912.
The Union Thanksgiving Service is an annual gathering of many years standing. The place of service is rotated among the churches in the Boston area. Twenty churches are expected to participate in the service. The Servant of Holy Communion will be observed and a time of fellowship will follow the service.
Program
Glasgow AME Church members are holding a men’s day program at 11 a.m., Sunday. The Rev. James Banks is the speaker and St. Luke choir will perform.
Celebration
St. Thomas AME Church is celebrating its 152nd anniversary at 11:30 a.m., Sunday. The speaker is the Rev. Hardy Clayton.
Anniversary
Members of Mt. Olive P.B. Church’s senior choir will celebrate the choir’s 51st anniversary at 6 p.m., Saturday. Area choirs will be on the program.

Evergreen Congregational (UCC) in Beachton is holding its annual Gala Day program at 11 a.m., Sunday. The speaker is Elder Mack Davis.
Family and friends
Pleasant Hill CME Church is holding a family and friends day at 11 a.m., Sunday. Minister Patricia Jones is the speaker and dinner follows the service.
Special speaker
Revivalist Barry Perez will be speaking at Living Word Fellowship Church at 9:30 a.m., Sunday. Church members meet in the Beit Shalom Synagogue at 1425 E. Jackson St. For directions, call (229) 977-7591.

Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church Union Harvest Revival will be held at New Olive Grove Missionary Baptist Church. The event is Nov. 18-22 beginning at 7 p.m.
Churches in charge are on Monday is Bethel M.B.; Tuesday is New Oak Grove M.B.; Wednesday is Mt. Moriah M.B.; Thursday is Ochlocknee M.B.; and Friday is Friendship M.B.
Anniversary
On Sunday, December 1 at 2:30 p.m., The Greater Bethlehem-Midway C.M.E. Church will celebrate its 167th church anniversary. Bishop Thomas Brown Sr., Sixth Prelate of the C.M.E. Church, will be bringing a “Message from Heaven” at The Bethlehem-Midway C.M.E. Church, located off of the Ozell Road in Thomasville. Dinner will follow.
