Beulah Hill Family Life Center to host gospel concert Sept. 2
TIFTON — Beulah Hill Family Life Center will host a free gospel concert at 4 p.m., Sept. 2
The concert is being held to celebrate 29 years of gospel broadcasting, according to Billy Ray Washington.
Washington started work in broadcasting in 1989, before starting his own channel, BRW Gospel Station, in 1993.
“The purpose of the concert is to bring people together and lift up the name of Jesus,” said Washington.
Featured performers include Michael Acree and the Miracle Workers of Ocilla; Rev. Tommy Washington and the Holy Lights; Unified of Valdosta; Chosen and Faithful of Ashburn; The Smith Sister of Albany; Lil Bro. and the Boys of Valdosta; and Al Scott and the Singing Stars of Cordele, according to Washington.
The concert will be streamed live on Facebook and recorded for later broadcast on BRW, said Washington.
Beulah Hill Family Life Center is located at 321 Tifton Eldorado Road.
