Four Archbold facilities report having no COVID-19 patients
THOMASVILLE — Archbold officials reported Tuesday that to date there have been 1,739 positive test results for COVID-19 across their system, with 104 deaths, since testing began March 11. There also have been 13,115 negative test results.
There have been 661 people admitted to Archbold hospitals since testing started. Over the past week, the system has had 21 new positive test results and 544 new negative results. Ten people have been admitted to Archbold hospitals in the last week for COVID-19. The system recorded four deaths from COVID-19 in the last week.
As of Tuesday, there were nine COVID-19 positive patients at Archbold Memorial Hospital, and none at Grady General Hospital, Mitchell County Hospital, Brooks County Hospital and Northside Center for Behavioral and Psychiatric Care.
Archbold also is reporting there are no COVID positive patients at Glenn-Mor Nursing Home, Pelham Parkway Nursing Home or Mitchell Convalescent Center.
The Georgia Department of Public Health reports there have been 1,576 COVID-19 positive tests in Thomas County, with 69 deaths. There also have been 173 people hospitalized because of the novel coronavirus since the inception of the outbreak.
Statewide, there have been more than 342,000 confirmed positive tests for COVID-19, leading to 7,674 deaths in Georgia and 30,541 people being hospitalized.
The state has administered more than 3.3 million tests.
