Archbold to host Pink Affair on Oct. 27

On October 27, Archbold’s Lewis Hall Singletary Oncology Center will host the ninth annual Pink Affair, a benefit fashion show featuring local cancer survivors.

Beginning at 6 p.m., the Pink Affair, which was on hiatus during COVID-19, will clear the runway for nearly 45 cancer survivors to model clothing provided by local stores.

Afterward, a celebration honoring the models will immediately follow and provide food alongside live music.

Debbie Beeson, patient navigator at the Lewis Hall Singletary Oncology Center, said that the event is something that local cancer survivors look forward to every year and she’s glad that such an amazing way to celebrate them is coming back after the pandemic.

“The Pink Affair is an event our cancer survivors look forward to every year and we’re so glad it’s back after a brief hiatus due to the pandemic,” she said. ”The event is a great way to celebrate our cancer survivors.”

The presenting sponsor for the event is Thomasville Toyota and Thomasville Ford. According to Archbold, the proceeds from the event will help cover the cost of post-surgical supplies for patients.

Tickets for the event are on sale now and can be purchased at https://archbold.org/apinkaffair or by calling the Archbold Foundation at (229) 228-2924. Corporate and individual sponsorship opportunities are also available for the Pink Affair. For more information on sponsorships, contact the Archbold Foundation at (229) 228-2924.
