Thomasville real estate broker Daniel Crocker recently completed the Remote Pilot 101 Course and successfully passed the 60 question FAA Knowledge Test for Small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS). Airspace, weather and airport/field operations were some of the topics covered in the course.

The Federal Aviation Administration requires that operators using drones for commercial purposes be in compliance with Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 107.

Crocker, along with two other members of the the REALTORS Land Institute, Georgia Chapter, completed the course together. The use of drones in the practice of real estate is considered commercial use by the FAA.
