THOMASVILLE- Rotary Club of Thomasville made a big impact on the community at their “Fresh For You — Free Produce Market.” In partnership with Second Harvest of South Georgia and Marguerite Neel Williams Boys & Girls Club, Rotary served a total of 253 households in the Thomasville-Thomas County community on Saturday, July 22, 2023.

In 2021, during Rotary Club of Thomasville’s 100th year, the club embarked on a mission to discover the most critical needs in the Thomasville-Thomas County community. The results showed that diabetes, heart issues, and other health concerns impacted a higher percentage of the residents compared to other parts of the country. But, they didn’t stop there. Rotary Club of Thomasville saw an opportunity to make a lasting impact on the quality of life for their neighbors by addressing this issue head-on.
