Local ‘Superheroes’ get their day

THOMASVILLE — it was Superhero Day across Thomas County on Monday morning.
Nominated by community members, the Superheroes got their own Everfan Superhero cape.
Individuals and groups were nominated to Hands On Thomas County for their volunteer service. Along with their Superhero cape, winners got a personal message of appreciation and an appreciation station card good for discounts and freebies from local businesses.
The overall winner selected will receive four Disney Park Hopper Passes, and the student winner will receiver a $500 Bobbie Flowers Quiet Leader Scholarship.
