THOMASVILLE — “Christmas in Lights,” will once again light up the Thomasville night sky with twinkling yuletide displays for the public to enjoy throughout the holiday season.
Christmas in Lights is Flowers Foods’ annual holiday gift to the community and features more than 20 holiday vignettes and 25,000 multi-colored lights throughout the grounds of the company’s home office in Thomasville. Free to the public, the drive through-display will be open every evening from 6-10 p.m. beginning the Sunday before Thanksgiving and running through New Year’s Eve.
The entrance is through the gates on northbound U.S. 19 South, near the intersection with Old Monticello Road. Visitors are asked to turn off their headlights when entering the display, observe the 5 mph speed limit, and remain in their vehicles at all times.
Christmas in Lights made its debut in 1995 and was inspired by W. H. Flowers Jr., longtime company chairman and CEO, who had a special fondness for Christmas.
