THOMASVILLE- Thomas County Central High School held Apply to College Day on Thursday, Nov. 9. The event, in conjunction with the Georgia Apply to College program and No Fee November through GAFutures.org, offers soon-to-graduate students the opportunity to complete and submit college applications for free while on school campus where they can receive guidance if needed. Throughout the school day, seniors visited the TCCHS Media Center computer lab, where representatives from the TCCHS Guidance Office, Southern Regional Technical College, and Thomas University assisted them with filling out and submitting applications to various Georgia post-secondary institutions.

Fifty colleges and universities currently participate in No Fee November, meaning students may submit admission applications to them for free throughout the month.

In addition to local schools, places TCCHS seniors applied to include Valdosta State University, Kennesaw State University, University of Georgia, Columbus State University and Georgia Southern University. Approximately 110 students participated.
